For nearly sixteen years, Jennifer "Jenn" Miller has walked beside Orange County families through pregnancy, birth, and those tender first days with a new baby. She is a certified birth doula, a Certified Lactation Educator Specialist, and a birth photographer, and she is a mother of five herself.
That combination is rare on purpose. Jenn trained in photography in San Francisco long before she became a doula, and the two disciplines feed each other. Her photographer's eye makes her a quieter, more attuned presence in the birth room. Her years as a doula let her document birth from the inside, catching the moments that matter without ever getting in the way.
What families remember most is how she makes them feel: relaxed, knowledgeable, confident, and grounded. Gentle but firm when it counts.
Jenn's own family, her five children, her marriage, the gyms they have built, is the reason families trust her. She has lived the exhaustion, the joy, and the fear of birth, and she brings all of it to your side.

The soft curve at the foot of the J was a deliberate choice. It echoes the gentle round of the womb: the quiet beginning of every story Jenn is part of. A small reminder that beneath the certifications, the calm, and the camera, this work is about the most human thing there is, helping new life arrive safely and honoring the people who bring it into the world.
Jenn's care is trauma-informed and unhurried. She starts by listening: to your hopes, your history, and the fears you might not say out loud anywhere else. From there, everything is built around your family rather than a template. She works alongside your OB, midwife, and nurses, never in competition with them, so your medical team handles the clinical side while she holds the continuous, personal support that staff often cannot stay in the room to give.
Because she lives in San Clemente and travels throughout Orange County, from Dana Point and San Juan Capistrano to Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, and Irvine, Jenn knows the local hospitals, birth centers, and providers well. That familiarity means fewer surprises for you on the day. And because she deliberately takes a limited number of births around each due date, the family she says yes to gets her full, undivided presence when labor finally begins.
